As soon as our designs are finished and dried, they have to be fired in our electric oven at 940 degrees Celsius.  Afterwards one of the most important stages follows: the glaze firing in the wood fired oven.

It is very important how we set the oven, and it is reset for every firing, as the sizes of our ceramic designs vary. Only fire bestows strength and dynamic stability to ceramics: The oven and the ceramics are warmed very slowly by adding a little wood every 10 minutes, steadily adding to the amount of wood that is burning. After 8 hours we stoke with metre-length logs and we mix in hardwood so that the temperature does not rise too quickly.
